Strategic Partnership between NORD & WDRVM for gearbox assembly in MENA

Since 1990, Getriebebau NORD unique brand has been globally known as the German giant of geared motors. With a wide range of reliable and top-quality products the market demand was increasing constantly, for which we had an agreement with WDRVM for Renewable Energies and Heavy Industries to be our official distributor in Syria and the Middle east. And thanks to their distinguished performance in promoting these products, NORD become one of the strongest and most competitive brands in MENA local markets.

A strategic partnership contract was signed between NORD and WDRVM in 2009, paving the way for WDRVM to become our key partner in Syria and throughout Middle East region, assembling and supplying up to 100.000 geared motors annually meeting the market demands of many customers and serving various fields of industries thanks to NORD’s wide range of qualitative products and solutions.

WDRVM has established its huge facility of 45,000 M<sup>2</sup> back in 2007. The facility is mainly specialized in manufacturing on-shore wind turbines with capacities ranging from 2.5 MW up to 6.5 MW.

A special part of this factory was dedicated for assembling and stocking NORD products and spare parts, equipped with the best technology to ensure a reliable assembly service for different kinds of motorized gear (helical, bevel, parallel and worm geared motors) on presses type 3 and type 4 B ranging from size SK 02- up to SK 9086.

WDRVM is an ISO certified company providing complete solutions that include supplying new gearboxes, replacing existing gearboxes of different brands with the right equivalent from NORD with the possibility to custom-made and modify when necessary, complete EPC contracts for different sectors using NORD products, as well as a professional customer and after-sales services, with a solid background in engineering services, repairing and maintenance works and supplying the appropriate spare parts.
