This industrial gear unit series has a large centre distance of up to 1,281 mm – one of the <a href="/de/dokumentation/flyer-broschueren/details/fs0003.jsp">largest serial centre distances</a> on the market. The typical drive design for lifting gear with rope drum and motor on the same gear unit side (U-design) is therefore possible without any problems.

<h3>MAXXDRIVE® XJ – <br>ideal for running gears</h3>

The industrial gear unit is a space-saving miracle. It combines the extended centre distance with a right-angle drive shaft. The result is a J-shaped drive design that makes the gear unit-motor combination a powerful solution for confined installation spaces.

<h3>NORDAC <i>PRO</i> 500P – <br>compact universal talent </h3>

The control cabinet inverter masters practically any movement task. With features such as a multi-encoder interface and a multi-protocol Ethernet interface, it acts as the communicator that safely directs the drive components in the field.

Reliable overhead cranes with drives from NORD

The Polish manufacturer PROTEA has been relying on drive solutions and services from NORD for years. For its bridge cranes that are used, among other things, to transport bales of straw in biogas production, the company uses drive solutions from NORD: MAXXDRIVE® XD with a motor power of 18.5 kW for the lifting gear and geared motors in a flat housing with powers of 0.55 kW and 11 kW for crane and trolley.
