Configure and order drives online

NORD sees itself as a partner to its customers and is continuously working on the further development of digital self-service solutions. The goal: a purchasing and procurement process that is as efficient and transparent as possible. To achieve this, NORD is expanding its myNORD customer portal into a fully-fledged e-commerce platform.

Expansion of myNORD into an e-commerce platform

myNORD is NORD's central digital customer portal. The online tool offers practical and fast support for collaboration and simplifies joint business processes. Currently, around 26,500 customer users worldwide use the portal. The relaunch of myNORD, planned for the end of 2024, will bring extended functions and significantly simplify the configuration and ordering of NORD drives.

New functions are coming your way

• Innovative and interactive configuration support
• Additional information and explanatory texts support you during the configuration
• Plausibility check for error-free assembly of your desired product
• Market- and customer-specific configuration defaults
• Download of all standard documentation (operating and maintenance instructions, spare parts lists, certificates, etc.) based on the serial, order or QR code number
• Simple and fast management of projects with an option to directly contact NORD out of the myNORD
• Modernized layout for offers and data sheets for a clear presentation of the products
• Rework of the user interface for a modern, interactive design

Due to the scope and complexity of the project, not all planned functional improvements will be available yet. The range of functions will be successively expanded downstream – for even easier collaboration with NORD via myNORD.

The short way to the optimal drive solution

On myNORD, customers can configure and order NORD drives they need from the standard product portfolio (gears, motors, drive electronics) online themselves.

A clear interface, product and application information, a convenient product search, a clear structure and intuitive navigation ensure a high level of user-friendliness.

All configuration steps are carried out on a single page. The essential features that have already been selected and those still to be selected are clearly displayed in a summary on the right-hand side of the window and are always in view.

Numerous search functions (e.g. ambient parameters, motor power, output speed, output torque) make it easier to select the appropriate products. Thanks to the new plausibility check, the product configurator only displays options that match the preferences already specified. Online configuration and conformity testing of ATEX geared motors is also possible.

Configure, select and order NORD products independently: With the targeted system and process optimizations, NORD is setting up its online tools in a contemporary way and offering modern solutions for a unique user experience.

The result: Simpler configuration processes, shorter quotation and ordering times, and even more efficient request and order processing.
