NORD high in sustainability ranking

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS was assessed in 2024 by the EcoVadis rating agency and awarded the silver sustainability certificate. In the overall ranking, the northern German company is among the top four percent of manufacturers in the industry assessed by EcoVadis.

The company received 68 out of 100 points, which is well above the average for companies in this industry. The drive technology manufacturer is thus in the top one percent of companies assessed in the environmental category and among the top eleven percent in the sustainable procurement category.

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS has set itself the goal of reconciling economic efficiency and sustainability - both globally and locally on site. In addition to innovations and energy efficiency, with its CSR measures the company also assumes a social responsibility towards its globally active employees, customers, suppliers and partners.

The company's sustainability strategy includes not only a careful and resource-saving approach to nature, but also the development and manufacture of energy-efficient drive systems and solutions for environmentally relevant industries such as wind energy and waste water treatment plants, recycling and biogas plants, or large transport facilities, where significant energy can be saved through the use of NORD products.
